Our Initiatives

We Bake. We Give. We Inspire Others to do the Same.

Community Baking

We Bake. We Give.

We meet people where they are—with cookies, cakes, muffins, and moments that matter. Sometimes it’s a single delivery or event. Other times, it’s a sustained relationship built over seasons and years.

We bake for a wide range of communities and moments:

  • Families navigating hardship: We support organizations like Families First, Hospitality Homes, and the Somerville Homeless Coalition—where baked goods bring a touch of celebration and comfort to parents, children, and caregivers in difficult circumstances.

  • Young people building their futures: From students pursuing degrees without family support to teens participating in mentorship and leadership programs, we offer encouragement and recognition through simple, meaningful gestures.

  • Community programs and shelters: Through partnerships with local food pantries, shelters, and recreation centers, we deliver baked goods that help uplift clients and staff alike—often becoming part of regular rituals and special events.

  • Life milestones and celebrations: Whether it’s a birthday, graduation, or a moment of resilience after a tough stretch, we bake to honor everyday victories.

Workshops

We Inspire Others To Do The Same.

Our workshops are designed to spark volunteerism in the next generation. Led by volunteers and created for teens, each session builds confidence, connection, and a spirit of giving.

We mix learning with doing: participants bake, serve, and explore how nonprofits and small businesses work. Along the way, they see how simple acts of care can create ripples in their communities.

We host workshops for:

  • Teens and pre-teens through schools, recreation centers, and community programs

  • Emerging changemakers looking for a first step into service and leadership

Workshops don’t just teach skills—they inspire action. Many participants return as volunteers, bringing new energy and ideas to our programs.
